Running a charity is no easy task. We have no paid staff and rely on our hard working volunteers to help raise awareness of the charity and to help raise vital funds to help our volunteer Community First Responders (CFRs) to continue their work.
Could you spare some time to become a volunteer for us?
As well as our CFRs we have a number of volunteers helping in the background and we’re always happy to have some extra help from individuals and local businesses.
There are a number of ways you can help the charity, below are just a few. If you have a certain set of skills that you think would be beneficial to our cause then please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
Become A Community First Responder (CFR)
Learn life-saving skills and work towards a nationally recognised qualification by joining us a volunteer Community First Responder. Our CFRs are trained by West Midlands Ambulance Service and respond to incidents across Birmingham and Warwickshire. We currently have CFRs in Coleshill and Nuneaton and each CFR responds to calls within a five mile radius of their location.
Could you help us by delivering leaflets in to houses and businesses in your local area? These help us to raise awareness of what we do in the local community.
Help with events
We’re always looking for extra help at events. The help required depends on the event but this could be anything from handing out flyers, carrying collection buckets, or setting up a stall to talk to people and give out information about what we do.
Photography / Videography
If you are a talented photographer or videographer with some spare time and are interested in volunteering your skills we’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking for high quality images and footage to use to promote the charity. This could suit a student or those starting out in business looking to add to your portfolio, or a retiree looking to help a good cause.
Could you use your graphic design skills to help us stand out and raise awareness of the charity as well as future events? We’d love to hear from a talented graphic designer to help us make a visual impact online and in print.
If you think you can help us with any of the above or if you have an idea to help promote the charity in another way using your skills please get in touch, we’d love to hear more.
